stihls are good, but i`d rather use a husky

Again, this proves the opposite of what was originally intended.
The Husky has reduced OUTPUT because it is balanced. It matters little that the engine’s and crank output are the same. When you balance an engine with this method you lose power. Pretty simple really.

And by the way…. When the stihl saw is working, it is balanced !!!
Where is the husky balanced ??? at idle.
    That’s useless !

I like husky more, i bought a stihl 270c once and cut about three loads of wood with it and it broke, i bought a husky 455 rancher and its workin great and outcuts my friends 038 stihl,

pretty stupid test if you ask me, I don’t care if the chassis vibrates. It’s output to the handles that count!

  5. dukeheat September 7, 2008 7:32 pm

Stihl is better. Stihl is the best. period!

  6. rayven2012 September 7, 2008 7:32 pm

senseless demonstration. With no sound how do we even know the husky is running. The Stihl is raring to go and the husky is just sitting there all limp and dead like.

you also have to put in that this cock knocker is using homelites as well, stupid test completely pointless get a job man an stop living off our taxes

Did you see the reply that dealer gave to your comment? he knows the facts cause he sells them and works on them. If you have so many stihls is probably cause you like them. The way I do it…If its light and kicks ass, I like it. If it stands the test of time and work loads, even better.

  16. Gemrbubs September 7, 2008 7:32 pm

Which is best? Stihl or Husky? I know I prefer my Husky helmet, visor and ear defenders to the Stihl (having used both), but I’ve only used Stihl saws and hedgecutters and strimmers. Thinking of changing to Husky for the chainsaws…does anyone have any opinions?

  17. PERPARSON September 7, 2008 7:32 pm

yes in slovenia was the same thing…but stihl use walbro carbs! only 10% use ZAMA carbs. husqvarna use 80% ZAMA carbs and 20% walbro carbs…..ZAMA made in china…walbro made in ireland.

i used husky, stihl, and echo. stihl are dangerous the chain keeps goin from time to time the switches are weird to use, huskys mufflers like to come loose, but echo makes the best trim saw and looks the coolest does anyone no what makes are american?
