    Factory-refurbished Poulan P3314WSA chainsaw
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My factory-refurbished Poulan P3314WSA (14″ Wood Shark) chainsaw arrived last week. The order was well-packaged and complete, and the unit had been cleaned and refurbished very well after some previous use. The bar and chain were new. The bar spacer was in place to protect the saw during shipping, and the instructions and bar-tensioning tool were new.

It started up per the instructions, and has been working for me on small to medium-size jobs every day since. It does drink bar oil, but that’s better than being stingy with it, I guess.

The only problem was a bent but useable chain tensioning screw. I wrote to Poulan on their customer service website, and got a response the next day saying they’re sending me a replacement. Though it hasn’t arrived yet, I’m hopeful.

So far, it’s an excellent value. I wish I had bought the 16″, since the 14″ blade is kind of overwhelmed by the saw body, but that’s my bad. Maybe I’ll get a 16 or 18″ saw next.

    Great little saw
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is the perfect chain saw for the homeowner who has small (<12" diameter)trees to cut down, or wants to easily remove medium sized limbs for pruning landscaping purposes.

It starts everytime. You will have to pull the cord a few times, but it always starts. The small size makes it perfect for small jobs around the house. I had 20+ scrub trees obstructing my bluff veiws, and this saw made short work of them.

I’m very happy with my saw. Less than $100 spent and it vastly decreases my work time on the weekends.

Hard starting following manual. Once started it was hard to keep running. Used for 20min.and had to restart 5 times.

No power and seems to miss
